03.5 M3, for the price of it and maintenance and parts I could have had an early C6 and been just as happy, if not more
my turbo neon, about 7 grand lots of time, thought id be in love with it forever
good news is i learned alot about building cars/motors/using machinery and tools
I actually enjoyed Bravo, cheesecake/melting pot suck hard though
Bravo is for people who have never been to a really good Italian restaurant. IE: Lombardo’s
Buying a newer car.
Reason, I needed something reliable and under warranty. Will probably be the last newer car I buy, but I will drive it until it wont anymore.
If this thread said “Worst decision you’ve ever made”, I could write a book. But since it’s purchases, I can’t really think of any terrible purchases I made that are worthy of actually remembering for a thread like this.
Although, I did go see Spanglish in the movie theater when it came out, having not a clue what it was about, just knowing Adam Sandler was in it. Man, that was a fucking garbage movie to sit through. And I didn’t want to walk out because I already did buy the ticket.
Oh, and anything that I bought for the ex. Complete waste of fucking money. But I did manage to take the clothes back, because I’m an indian giver, so if anyone wants a barely worn black Lucky Brand tshirt in M, or a pair of Levi’s, lemme know. HA. Actually, Jan. '08 - June '09 was the worst investment ever, in all aspects of life.
HP ZE5375 laptop. Purchased with $1200 of my HS graduation money with a 3 year warranty. 3 months in, sent it in for a broken USB port. They said they found liquid in the heat sink :bsflag: and voided my warranty. A month later it started shooting sparks out of the charging port and started on fire. Had to spend $800 of my beer money on a new Dell
That reminds me. I received an engine as a graduation gift and then hit two deer with the car 5 months later and totaled the car.
my r6
ill prob die this summer
moving out of the ritz to live in Boston. i prob should have just found a place not in the middle of nowhere, but i liked the idea of it. 3 months later we were out
also the mx3 with a fucked title was a pretty bad purchase. i thought it would be easy to title, wrong
there were a few growlers i should have passed on
if i could have all of the money ive spent at brick bar back… damn. that would be a lot of $.
Too many to count.
I just wish I hated cars.

Kamchatka Vodka and Cranberry, weak, in a rocks glass. $12. Tao Nightclub, Vegas.
'04 sti
Worst. Purchase. Ever.
Explain?
My buddy just bought an STI.
meh… bad luck essentially. Infamous cracked ringland.
I guess I wouldn’t mind owning a stock sti again… but if I ever decided to go that route in the future I would definitely try my hands at an evo.
EDIT: All in all it was a poorly timed decision on my part and I should have at least had a daily to back me up…
I raise you a $26 knob creek manhattan at chocolate ultra lounge, las vegas. Or maybe the four shots of beam for $48 for my buddy and two slores at jet.
My zx10r.
A few come to mind…
1992 Subaru SVX and 1997 Audi A4…The transmission in the SVX went about a month after I bought it and the Audi was poorly maintained so that required a bunch of money to get it up to good running condition. Lost about $3000 between those two cars.
Also selling my Si for my Eclipse. Si was almost payed off and modded to my liking. Now I’m selling the Eclipse because I can’t find a job up here and can’t afford to keep it. Like Maxwell it was just poor timing as far as the purchase goes. Love the car, but what can ya do.
Learned a few very valuable lessons, but really wish I could have all that money back and a few decisions as well.
My first real car my conquest.Shoulda just bought a modded car instead.
