I just bought myself another s13 hatch and it seems there was a alarm system in there before or something but it’s not used anymore.
So there’s this box inside my engine bay and a bunch of useless wires everywhere. Was just wondering if it’s safe to pull everything out or if there are some wires i need to put back together or something…
Notice the orange wire here, it’s the only one still connected. All the other wires are either cut or disconnected.
Here you can see some type of relay box with the orange wire connected to it. There’s also a red, black and white/black stripe wire coming out of it that are connected to some other wires. Is it safe to pull this relay box and wires out?

yeah i agree, this looks sooo cheap ass. that’s why i wanna remove it, it’s just there taking space. besides i’ll need the place to put the clutch cylinder when i’ll do my manual tranny swap.
so shift_sr20det, you mean i have to tangle up the white/black stripe wire to the white one? and what do i do with the wires they were connected with under the steering wheel? cause i can see they’re connected with wires that goes either to that white box or elsewhere. I think the red one’s going to the ignition assy cause it goes deep inside. So, only the red, black and orange one would be useful? I just dont want to mess anything up and blow fuses and stuff, or worse… hehe
