ok so i’ve been thinking of going back to school for quite some time now, and working at circuit city is definitly not where i want to be at this point in my life. heres a lil background info: i have an associates degree from ITT in drafting, worked at moog for a year before i got let go along with over 200 others, and have been kinda floating between jobs not related to my field for the past 3 yrs or so.
basically what i’ve come to find is that employeers have since bumped up their requirements to a bachelors degree when before an associates was enough to get you in. at the time ITT didn’t offer a bachelors program, only the 2 yr one, so thats what i got. now i COULD go back for the 2nd half that they’ve since added, but to be honest i kinda felt like ITT was a waste of time when i went, i didn’t do a damn thing and still wound up with a 3.5 gpa. are there any other schools in the wny area i should be considering? the other problem is that ITT’s credits will most likely not be transfereable to another school, so i would more or less be starting over. i really don’t wanna have to deal with all the bs classes ( english match etc), but if i gotta i gotta.
any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys/girls
he already went there…and has a degree…and if u try hard enough u can get ITT Credits to tranfer…i know i went threw it…but then got my job so I didnt go back to school yet
if you can do the job…just lie on your resume…no one checks and so long as you don’t have to fill out an “official application” where you have to sign there’s nothing legally wrong with it.

I know somone who lied about having an engineering degree and is now the head of his department
Are there any other schools in this area that offer that type of B.S.? UB is difficult to transfer to even when you go to a normal two year college. I can’t imagine how peachy they get when a student wants to transfer credit from a trade school.
