what shoudl I look at when purchasing used suspension?

I’m looking at purchasing a set of used Sportlines, what should I look out for in terms of conditon? Any way to test them?

Just springs?

I would probablly test both to see their compression is fairly consistent
and similar. Not sure how. Perhaps pull a Fat Joe and lean back on one? :dunno:

Other then that, I guess anything visually that looks out of place (i.e. cracks, bends, etc.)

look for hairline fractures/cracks in the steel, and they usually rust where they contact the strut, so make sure it is still strong.
