hi to all of you, as you’ve noticed…iam NEW, and…pretty stupid 
…lots to learn from you guys soon ill be purchasing a 240sx…i hope, anywyas ive read the post on what to look for when purchasing a car.
Anyways i was wondering if anyone could give me more tips on what to look for when checking the car out, or even better going and checking the car with me (would pay for gas)

if you can, (might be difficult) see if you can pull up the carpet enough to see the inside rockers, as well as the floor right at the firewall ob both sides. It may be difficult to see these holes from the outside, and they are notorious for being in bad shape even on a seemingly rust free car.
check power antena, these things tend to be junk and dont work.
check for any rusty spots on the interior of the trunk, pull up carpet etc… that will tell you if there is or was a leaky / rusted out hatch.
check for strange oil spray on various components… around the shifter area on the tranny, and around the valve cover these tend for some reason to have a bad seal after a long while and they can get messy.
carpets again, check for holes and tears that water could get through, the carpet itself has a water proof liner on it, so if there’s a hole there’s generally rust underneath.
stains tears or other in seats… ew lol
