Do you think its going to be that hard to get 6500 for it? …tell me your thoughts.

a little mod list:

97 DX around 80-90k miles.

auto - manual swapped, stock suspension, steelies on 185/60-14 advan a032r (hards) about half or better tread

JDM front and rear CTR lips, had the entire car painted factory red not long ago, carbon hood and rear deck spoiler

96 b18b1, all freshly rebuilt, .010" over ctr pistons, .005" off the head to clean it up

crower 404’s, crower springs/retainers, all port matched

929rr ITB’s (40mm at the plate)

Skunk2 Pro Series cam gears

T-Pro’s Header, 2.1" collector, 2.5" back through a fake cat, silencer and mangaflow round, then out the side.

Fidanza flywheel w/ ACT full face setup

99 JDM CTR LSD tranny (y21), fresh 3-4 syncro’s, rings and collars

Mostly new mounts (hence auto/manual swap)

P75 chipped running Crome. It was dyno tuned w/o the ITB’s at mid 13 A/F’s… its definitly leaner now with the ITB’s and needs more fuel… ah yes, RC370 injectors as well.

I think thats about it. The back seats are out of it, but I have them. I was going to cage it, but never got around to it. Probably runs the same or a little quicker than an H22 swapped civic.

The idea of making money to eat this week is dwindling away… for some reason, i have way to much money in it… popping the motor once didn’t help. I’m either going sell it now or change the setup around. I’m just worried that its not going to be an appealing car based on the drivetrain setup and no suspension mods. I dont know, gimmie some feedback…or offers, whatever. :frowning:

im not really up on things when it comes to hondas, but 6500 seems like it might be a little bit of a stretch… even though you have a lot of money/time into it, the turnaround is never quite what you expect. it sounds like it’s worth a decent bit of change, but i don’t know that i’d go that much, especially with a swap and someone outside of the car world may not wanna get into that. you can maybe try autotrader where it reaches a larger market… forums seem to tend to have people who are more keen to trades or getting items at a steal then really giving someone what they want for a car.

i dunno, just my $.02

Well buy and sell is what I do for a living… I just try to have fun on the side with projects like these. I’d be willing to change it up… but im reluctant to put an ad together now in fear that if it dies, it’ll die hard…even on the next try with a different setup…

Maybe no less then $5500.It just needs a little TLC thats all.

There is a slight chance a kid is going to take it soon for 5500, we’ll c what happens. UGH, i hate loosing money on stuff

Why dont you wax YOUR NEW PAINT JOB!!! and make it look a little more presentable. Lower it on some SI rims and i think your goal is attainable! Look at it this way atleast its not an integra!

Polish that thing and throw some rims on it. The steelies are killing the apearance.

I agree, I’d clean it up and throw some OEM wheels on it. Si’s go for about $200 - 250, you could probably get a set of HX wheels for $150 and reuse the Advan tires.

I got those crappy adj. coilovers if you want them?! theres a cheap start.

When my car just got painted recently because someone hit me they said not to wax it for a while, or anything of the sort.

I might take those coilovers you have turd… and ya ya, i’ll clean it up. I know how good it looked when it left the shop.

I did order a Cometic head gasket yesterday to take the 13.3:1 down to 12.1:1. That should solve the daily driving problems it had before… but gosh i love a nasty compression motor!

The HG is here, I’ll hopefully get it in today. If it doesnt sell, I think im going to get a spring and shock combo on it, nice set of wheels and just drive it for a while. Try to get some of my moneys worth out of it :stuck_out_tongue:
