Hey guys, at my dad’s place of employment they had some safety regulation contest to win a gift certificate to certain stores. Well my dad won the grand prize of $4,000 to his choice of a few places (best one being Circuit City)… so since he is such a generous guy he gave me and my sister $250 each to spend… So what should I get at Circuit city for $250???

you could get a soso digital camera if you dont already have one. maybe just a bunch of dvd’s and such

I have a decent digicam. I just rent movies, but blanks is an option. He mentioned that he might want to buy a digital camcorder. He was looking for one in the $300 range. I might just tell him to use my portion to buy a bad ass one and let me borrow it any time.

Also thinking of a new headunit with satellite capabilities… but $250 won’t buy much of one… I’m spoiled with my 6 year old Pioneer DEH-8000

If you’re a big movie renter, then buy a DVD burner… they’re awesome

Actually, I dont think I’ve rented a movie in years… but I do have a burner and a high speed internet connection.

I have a DVD burner, got the blockbuster movie pass and I’m thinking about getting Netflix for all the box sets. My blockbuster sucks on the box set part.

how about a PSP, satallite radio (but you’ll have a monthly bill) digital camera

PSP would be nice but I already have my phone… the only thing the PSP does is play games… which I do too much of as it is. Sat. radio was a high consideration but I have so many CDs I dont want to pay for even more music… I have a decent digi cam so i went the next step up…

I threw my portion in on that dvd camera. My dad was plannin on buying a pretty dcent Mini-DV cam but I had him spend my portion on top of that and just got a nice dvd one. So thats what I decided on.
