i have a 18*8.5 wheels and im gonna need to buy some tires what kinda of rubber can i run ?? wheels are going on to and 89 240sx
i say the lowest profile as possible if they are 18’s
18’s u neeed like 190/30/r18 basicly glue yourself a ruber belt on the rim and off you go. And i would not put them on untill roads are 1/2 of what they are. Low profie , no absorbtion , potholes will win .

ouch
yeah… i’d kind of have to agree not to run an ultra low profile tire on these roads… you’ll end up with slow bead leaks because the wheel is mis-shaped, or even worse, big noticeable lip dents.
Thats only if you buy cheap wheels and don’t know how to drive
But since they are 18x8.5’s so i am guessing the offset is about +35 i would stick some 245/35r18 or 245/40r18
But its hard to answear beacause of the limited info you gave, like offset how low you are.
i have a client who works in kalo tire , he sad so far he re-ordered wheels from 150 ach to 650 each due to pot hole damages. So i doubt better rims will do any difference on our roads, well here in north edmonton anyway.
i agree with with rs13 said
yea cuz Kal-tire sells really good wheels.
WTF is Kalo tire…?
