Taking a train to NJ to pick up my gf’s new car.
Around lunchtime I’ll have an hour and a half to kill at Penn station between trains. Anyone have suggestions for a good (vegetarian-friendly) place to eat or something cool to go check out?
If I remember correctly the Empire State Building is on 34th St like 4 blocks from Penn Station

Take a cab to the village. Plenty of vegetarian places down there I am sure.
Time Square and Central Park are both a few blocks away in either direction. Herald Towers, the original Macy’s, MSG are all right there by the station. You can check out plenty in the time you have.
