Wait so wat happened to the car?
You have a ton of power!!! Can you really use it all on the street? Are tickets worth it? I say go all out! You can do it the expensive way or cheap way. My machinist is doing a 95 Camaro up now with the full 12 pt cage and mini tubs, all Wolfe suspension. It’s cool, but the car is a rat rod and super expensive. Or you could just put a 10 point in and keep the full interior, and get 28X10 slick. Keep the M6, finish the body work and fuel system and your done. That’s all I would do.
Sell everything and buy a 28 ft. Donzi ZX with a blown engine, Turbo LS1 it and have a 140 mph boat
hahahahahahahahahahaha
My car?
Good point. If you put your motor in a boat you’d have no need for the transmission :mamoru:
Do they fit roll cages in boats?
if he drives a boat like he drives his car nobody will ever ride with him :flipoff:
boats dont have tires thats $ saved
I found out about this yesterday… thanks for keeping me in the loop. :grr:
i thought you knew willis! btw, buy my driver!
so how did this car catch on fire???
Maybe… golf is pretty much over… if I have a good month this month i’ll consider it… Im in the process of finding a better DD.
when things get hot enough, sometimes they ignite.
something in the fuel tank failed. believe one of the pumps got jammed due to the sock falling off
I’d go option #2
I vote option 1 because I love the color of your car.
I’d say go an option like freek mentioned. Put the drivetrain in a vette/other roller. A different car may re-spark your enthusiasm for the car scene again.
+1 for vette roller.
Bill, Make it the way YOU want it. But if it were me, i would just cage it (considering the interior is already out, and with your kind of power, i would want it for my safety and to stiffen up the car) and put it back to the way it was, repaint it etc and have it rolling again by next spring. If you get another car to swap the motor into, i dont think the blue one will see the light of day for a long time. You have a nice cruiser, with leather the whole 9 yards and can still open it up and own most cars out there. Get a set of welds with slicks and skinnies if you want to go to the track. Dont go stupid with an auto and all that BS, its not what you like, its not your thing and isnt mine eiether. I know i could go a lot faster with an auto, but i think my 6 speed is a lot more fun. This is why i own the car because its a fun diversion from my school work and the real world, and i know you are the same way.
