From what I have talked to you about in the past and what I have read here, I would go with rebuilding your SS and just leaving the way it is… The track is not really your thing, so put the money you would invest in track goods towards the rebuild, or if thats all good, throw it in the bank!! $$

something about sea doo/donzi when its 50-60 out doesnt seem logical. lol. however. I know where you can get an all black zx-10r for about 7k (just like mine) oh yea. it will be reliable too and if you’re not silly about it, it will run forever and the only money you’ll put into it are petroleum products. <3 we can be butt buddies again too <3

Buy my 06 GTO. That way you get to keep your drivetrain, you can gradually build up the Camaro back to what it was, and you will have something that is fast enough for the time being that you won’t want to off yourself when you drive it.
it seems you may have a personal connection with your car, id do every thing to your blue ss rather that swap everything, it just seems like uneeded work and money.
and keep it as a street car that you can actually take to the track, put in a cage! money put towards the saftey of your life is money well spent, plus id get a bigger fire extinguisher (sp) 
Fix her up. That’s one of my favorite late model F-bodies, ever. That paint makes it stand out - not to mention that monster mill. Just take your time with it, bite-sized chunks instead of eating the whole 72oz. steak at once :lol:

Agreed I feel like you will enjoy the car the most if you dedicate it to a use.
Do this on a budget and save money for a real street car to beat around in like a stockish 6-sp C-5 or C-6. Hell I was looking at a 2000 FRC with 70k miles on it for 16k the other day.
I will say when I move home I plan to pick up some type of car like this and a few years later I will build a race car if I am still into it.
