What to do with old text books?

I have a bin full of college books that I am looking to get rid of. I don’t want money for them but I don’t want to see them thrown in the garbage either. Any ideas where I could take these where they would be put to good use?

library?

I had a few outdated old books and felt the same way. I listed them on Amazon.com and surprisingly all of them sold in like 2 weeks, was a nice 100 bucks from junk I was just going to toss out.

use them for reference! yoow

burn them ?? i always had fun watching phone books burn

I always kept the ones I may think I need down the road for reference and what not.

Others I pretty much gave to some of my friends that took similar classes.

Or

donate them to your local library.

or, have a coffee table that needs leveling?

or if you’re extremely lazy, put up a posting on craigslist:

FREE Textbooks (Acme 101 - 108), pick them up at Subway on 123 Main st after 5pm today. 1st come 1st serve.

I have a math book new in the plastic… that always makes me lol because I still got a A

sounds like a pretty demanding program

my bad it wasn’t math it was english

there’s a paper recycling plant on Walden I think.

put them on a bookshelf to make yourself look smart

yo half.com it up

If you have a lot, throw them on Ebay or Amazon. Chances are they will sell and you will make a few bucks on them.

I fired mine in the recycling bin…

I put them on half.com for cheap to build up my reseller rating

BTW you still have your TRL101 book?

Trolling 101

You should keep them to touch up on things you aren’t exactly clear on this is what i would do but it is totally in your hands not mine

i also have a SHITLOAD of books i’ve never taken back… probably $2-3000 worth
