congrats man
lol pun intended? I know, but this derailment was just WILD!
its adorable
Congrats, and welcome to the, “how did I spend $100 at home depot when I just came in for a light bulb” club.
Oof. I hate that club. I went in for a pipe snake on Sunday and spent $200 on a food disposal.
Good grab
haha, I know that pain all too well.
My dad always used to drag me along
dad: “We just need a few 2x4s and some drywall screws”
[2 hours later at the cash register]
cashier: “That will be 1293 and 37 cents”
dad: “FML”
Nice house!
Does it at least have a basement? lol.
I just went to Lowes for a bag of playsand and spent $154. Get used to it. lol
haha, no basement, crawl space
it is rare to find a house in raleigh that has a basement or a garage(in this price range at least)
^I wondered because my sis lives down south and has no basement.
Nice house though. Congrats.
ehh when you get a lowes or HD credit card it makes it so easy to walk in and say OH i need this and this … I bought a door 4 months ago b/c i needed it right then and their **I just put the door on 2 weeks ago **
The dirt here is more like a clay than anything. Makes ANY digging a real hassle, so not many inexpensive houses got basements.
That and the 12" frost line in NC vs the 48" frost line in NY means you don’t have to dig down basement deep to build a footing like you do here.
^Truth.
yeah, that or the whole the clay thing

good call though, didn’t even think of that
Nice purchase. I wish I could find a respectable house in the area for mid 200’s… everything I’ve been checking out is 300+ for something even “decent”.
Congrats, should’ve worked a way to sell the 350z off on the deal ha.
Awesome house! Raleigh is so weird. The most beautiful landscape and climate. Then you go downtown and it’s like Buffalo mixed with Alabama. I’ll be down there this weekend, any pools open up down there yet?
The downtown has been doing really well as far as development goes. They just keep building more shit that eventually it’s gonna be sick.
Pools are definitely opening up. The pool at my current community opened a few weeks ago.
wish i could buy a house.
but i cant even touch a small ranch house here for under 200k
FML
actually…
nice house man.
