What was your first car you bought with your own cash?

been over 10 years now, but an 86 vw cabriolet. only thing the same from when i bought it is the unibody tub. wiring, paint, glass, trim, drivetrain, suspension, dash, interior, gas tank, any fluid bottles literally everything else has been changed.

I’m sure many of us remember that thing. I remember it sitting in the garage next to my truck for many, many moons.

What did you do with it? Last I saw it was flat black. I thought you still had it.
