Where did you take the course? I took it in the fall in Angola.
Honestly though, 07 rr with 2400 miles. have you researched something a bit older to get your feet wet on? To me it just seems a bit silly to learn on such a new, expensive bike. I mean hell… the 03-05 rr’s are significantly cheaper and still have great body lines. IDK… just some food for thought.
Hell… ride an f3 for a year and sell it for just as much as you bought it for…
I took the course in Boston, Ma. I did look at other bikes but the $1K +/- wasn’t worth it to me. The CBR got lighter in 07, so I decided that the few extra bux was worth it. Plus, I’ll keep it longer than if I got an older bike.
I know Sam’s 03 sold for $5K… I can get one that is 4 years newer, lighter and only 2400 miles for ~$2k more(from a dealer).
Good advice, but to play devils advocate my first two bikes a bought brand new straight from the dealer and i have gotten lucky…plus i think i tend to ride a little more careful knowing technically its still the bank’s haha
Word. It’s definitely a fantastic bike and I plan on researching something similar in the next few months… but I guess my point is that it’s one hell of a first bike… IMHO
leo vince could be 300-2500 retail. most likely a slip on… 07 600rr in mint condition with those mods, id pay no more than 6500 for… dont get me wrong on a good day he might be able to get more, but 6500 would be a decent deal.
Went to look at it… looks pretty nice, clean. Lowest they would go is $6800… might have to pull the trigger, I’ll wait til friday to think it over.
sounds like a good deal to me. my bike was 4yrs older with 10k on the clock, and i sold it (with stands, spare parts, and some accessories) for 5k. you will love this bike…
