You can go looking for certain things. I went there for a weekend on my own to get away from a lot and it was a blast. Anytime I have been there I have always had fun and no matter what I was looking to do, I managed to find the environment I wanted whether it was party and get away, relax and chill to clear my head, or just gamble.

My normal life is more exciting than any bachelor party I’ve ever been to.
Went to Dominican Republic for a week.
All inclusive resort, got drunk when you wanted to, did shit when you wanted to, ate whatever you want, played in the casino whenever, danced whenever. Made friends with some locals, went to a field and shot off AK47s with large drum mags at multiple targets, went to Cabereta in a shady ass cab and didn’t need to pay for any stripper to dance over my shit. Went to a strip club and bought the fucking bar for 50 bucks US and took over the DJ booth.
Yeah, loved it so much did it 3 years in a row for 3 different bachelor parties. And I spent less the whole week than I have on some of the more docile ones around NYC…
