Tom will tell you which card is the best for your price range.PCIE and AGP.
But the absolute best card on the market is the 8800GTX.

AGP > *
it all depends on what your looking to do with it. Hardcore gaming? Casual gaming? Cad work? How much are you looking to spend? AGP or PCi-e?
Honestly… you could spend upwards of $2000.00 on a video card. There are alot of options out there. If you want directX 10, then you’ll probably want the 8800, if not… then you could go an SLi route and spend less with similar performance
If you have AGP, I’d go with the BFG 7800 GS OC. I just got it and I’m 100% pleased with it. Runs very cool also.
werd… I have the same card and it screams for an AGP card  runs most everything I’ve thrown at it maxed out @ 1600x1200 (with a few exceptions)
Turned me into a Nvidia fan
edit: wish I had waited a few months though… I could of got an 8800gt for the price I paid
:biglol:
That’s not an agp card is it?
you’re kidding, right?

Obviously posted by a comp noob… which is why the best post fwd’d him to Tom.
I’ve got a Diamond Stealth 3d 2000 you can buy… it’s PCI, with 2MB of RAM.
My father was always complaining of his old machine being slow, and after I saw what video card he was running, it made sense…
