What's wrong?

When I accelerate quickly in my car, as I shift, the car sort of lunges and jerks to the right. I know this sounds really stupid, but does this happen to any one? Could it be the fact that I’m not used to driving RWD or using a hydraulic tranny, or bad supension/bushings etc.?

It’s kind of annoying and I’d to fix it.

do you have vlsd? what year is it? how are your tireds (good air)?

When I shift at WOT from 1st into 2nd the car kicks out a bit, but that is the rear end breaking loose…lotsa HP sucks

Its a 1992 SE hatch. I does have the Vlsd. The tires are a little low, so I’ll try that. Hopefully it’s nothing major.

I’ve been driving 5spd since I got my licence. Pumping up the tires seemed to help but it still dives under heavy acceleration. I think it could be due to weight transfer while depressing the clutch

I’ve only had it for about 3 days. My previous car was an NX1600.

That’s exactly it. In the higher gears, it’s barely there. I guess I’ll just get used to it. Thanks for the help. 8)

If it jerks to the right its not the natural tendencies of the car… Could be tire pressure, but when was the last time the car had an alignment?
