afaik, different sized wheels can fuck the rear end/differential up pretty good.
as for weight, I don’t see it really hurting anything… as long as it’s not a huge difference (like 30 lbs or something)

As long as they are not on the drive wheels, and if they are, they just have to be the same rolling diameter.

My drums and pads lasted me 90K before needing to be changed. My dad’s discs need to be changed every 35K or so.
Imho there is no difference for drum and disk for a daily driven car.Unless you are tracking the car constantly. Agood set of front pads and rotors will do just fine. 70% of your braking is done in the front.
