I have an aluminum alloy rim that has a crack in it and I was wondering where a good place would be to send it to get it repaired or if anyone on here has the ability to weld it for me.

There has to be someone on here that knows how to weld aluminum.
the issue is not the welding of the aluminium, but the forces that it goes though. its going to be about $100 just for the cheapest of rim places for something like that, about $150 seems about average for a standard cracked rim repair.
Please tell me you’re one of the stretched tire VW guys and this happened to you because of your exposed rims.
This isn’t welding up exhaust pipe… your wheel is under alot of stresses during normal driving.
Stupid VW/Audi Wheels. They all do that.

if your not gunna do it right what is the difference, charging people and telling them it’s fixed is the best trick in the book,
people want to think something is fine and safe and fixed, yet they don’t to pay for it to be done right. tell em it’s safe and take their money, this advice is priceless.
