Wheel Questions...

Alright i wanna get rims with a proper offset one day…but that day is not coming this summer…so i have these rims on my car now…and i wanna make them stick out a bit more becasue they are a bit wide on the front…i know spacers…but what size? people also told me instead of spacers to put washers to make them stick out…how safe is this?

heres a picture fo how it looks now…

i just want to stick out a bit more…whats the proper offset for 240sx anyways i dont quite understand about offset and things like this…anyone help me out?

spacers + ARP longstuds (camaro application)

20mm looks like it would make enough difference.

what size are the wheels? that will help determine what size spacer to run. If you want more then 8mm, which you most likely will you will need longer studs like darian said or get spacers with studs installed.

a 17x9 +20 or similar sizing on an s13 will fit flush all around

how exactly does that diagram help him determine how much of a spacer he needs? hehe

i mean, maybe its just me, but that is completely irrelevant.

It is irrelevent to his original question but in his last post he says

So i figured i’d post that diagram to help him understand offset abit better

my bad

good job then

I apologize for being a blind idiot.

Lucas, do NOT use washers, its not a good idea because teh wheel wont have proper contact with the hub. Also if you are going to get spacers, make sure they are hubcentric, the wheel must be centered for proper operation and no vibration.

Get coils, a fender roll and 25mm bolt on spacers.

25mm bolt on spacers at all 4 corners and drop the car as low as it will go, whenever metal touches something, hit it with a hammer until it doesn’t touch it anymore then keep going lower.

Thanks you guys this helped to understand a bit better  i do agree it needs to go a bit lower haha

25mm hubcentric spacers with built in studs is the easiest way to flush those wheels… it’ll take you like 20 min to install them and you can take them off just as easily.

Does anyone know how much 25mm spacers cost?

Like 150 a pair for new.
