can anyone recommend a good place to have a bent wheel replaced? i have a 17" aloy rim that got bent in some pothole a couple years ago. i am finally getting arround to getting it fixed. any place local that does this? if not where could i send it to get repaired?

From what Don told me at HC, you cant bang out a dent with a hammer on aluminmum becuase it will crack. I dont know your options. Someone with more experience can help you

he can do all sorts of repairs on all different rims. I had work done on my wheels a couple summers ago. I had to dig up his business card. He works on site, because he works alot with dealerships. He is at the mercedes dealership on main street alot. Prices were very reasonable
There is a way to repair aluminum wheels when they are bent, The Russians case was a little different as his wheel had material ripped off.
I think Fry the wheelguy does it downtown, best bet is to call fox tire too. They might run into that kind of thing more.

I went to Fry a couple years ago and they told me they don’t fix alloy wheels.
forgot to mention he charged me 70 a wheel for curb rash that was pretty bad.
what kind of wheel is it?
