Wheels Direct Group Buy

Is anyone going to do a group buy with Wheels Direct on R-Compounds or Summer tires this season?

TOYO RA1’s

in 225 / 50 / 16

i was quoted around $210 when i was working at AW during the signal day when i needed tires

i can try agian…

if the club liason wont do it i canl try the wholesale side.

Ahhh okay cool, I think most of us are looking into Falken Anzies this year.

There cheap and ther sticky…

And most of us have 15’s

But more of the guys who would be buying them have 16’s. I rather have the Toyo’s or Yokohama’s.

well…

i ran through 6 tires in 3 months…

i am not going to spend $$$ on tires for the back expecially…

wha ti am thinking of doing is setting up a club offer with a local tire recycler… they were giving me any tire for $50 wit half tread or so…

they had a HUGE selection of every size imaginable…

i got 245 / 45 / ZR16 goodyear Eagle RSA’s for $100 a pair…

i mean considering how fast some of us use tires this seems like a better option…

i will appraoch them in the spring… maybe $30 a tire for members or something…

just dont mount your tires there on nice wheels…

if i hadnt hung around, he was going to try and pop off the centre cap of my Impuls with a screw driver… holy FUK…

I’ll be in for some Dunlop FM901s… either 15 or 16, depending what rims
I get for the summer… I’m looking for something 16x8

16"x16" 's babie!!

Square… :stuck_out_tongue:

I would like a pair of 245/50/16 for the rear. Something that I can use
for the track for this season. I have 205/55/16 Yokos up front that are in
good shape.

What’s a good tire in the size 245/50/16, that is in the $150-180CAD range?

I had Kumho 712 on my Enkeis last season and I think they were great.
They were amazing in the rain, and they were pretty good (but not great)
in the dry.

I would like something other then Kumho this time; preferally Azenis or
something else. The compounds I will consider for next year.

EDIT:
I got my Enkei rims from Tire World in Brampton, and I did go to Wheels
Direct but Wheels Direct quoted me way higher on the Enkeis then
Tire World; so at first, I’m gonna approach Tire World on my choice of
tires and see if Wheels Direct can beat them. Tire World is like 10min
and they had good service.

these should still be available at BC AUTO
