Cheap Tires/Wheels 2008: Version 1

I’ve been promising quite a few people that I will put in an order towards the end of February / Early March so here it is.

Everything will work similar to last years group buys.

For those who aren’t already aware - last year I brought up around 200 wheels and tires for SONlings with nothing but happy/positive responses from those involved.

Post here if you need a quote, I’ll need your exact tire size as well as make/model that you need.

Alternatively if you aren’t sure what tire you want - let me know your budget and what tire size you need as well as what type of tire you need and I can recommend something to suit your needs and budget. (Type being winter, summer, all-season, off-road, road race, etc.)

Deposit of approx 30% is required via EMT. Call your bank and ask them to set this up for you if you aren’t sure what it is - it’s quick and free to setup and costs only $1.50 to send money.

I can be contacted via PM here on SON or via email at jammin@cogeco.ca.

I will cut off the orders when I reach somewhere between 20 and 28 tires depending on sizes and costs.

Any of my past customer can vouch that buying tires using this method will result in anywhere from a 10% to 40% discount over pricing elsewhere. I offer no price guarantee however and always recommend you make some calls to local shops to make sure whatever I quote you is a good price.

Here are some links to the 2007 group buys, please feel free to refer to the pricing but understand that the pricing is no longer valid as the price of tires changes too much to honour last years pricing.

Also check out my feedback on SON’s iTrader seller rating. I’m currently ranked #1 on SON at the time of this posting (thanks mostly to these tire group buys) with zero negative feedback.

Post what you need!

i need but not in a rush:

245/40R17

and

225/40R17

something not to crazy but good for daily driving with a nice feel.

Let me know here or on MSN, thanks john

can’t get these, sorry bud!

I assume you meant 225/45/17 so thats what I quoted… there is almost no tire available in 225/40/17 and its also the wrong size for an s13.

I’m also assuming that you meant 2x 225 for front and 2x 245 for rear, so thats what im quoting. let me know if im wrong.

Here is what I recommend:

2 x 225/45ZR17 General Exclaim UHP
2 x 245/40ZR17 General Exclaim UHP
Total Cost: CAD$460

is that final price? or is there extras on top of that?

thanks for the spedy response time and yes you are correct.

Thanks John

Bobby

that is “total cost”, like I stated above ;D

your the man john!!!

when is the cutoff for this?

not sure, depends when i get a full load

well let me know when and ill let you know if i can do it

if i let you know when i get a full load its going to be too late

my best guess at this point is late feb or early march

alex, like I said I can’t get those weds but i just spotted some alcoa, they’re pretty crazy expensive though. let me know if you want me to do up a quote:

same size that you wanted, 16x8 +0 in your bolt pattern

Falken 452 - 245/35/18 (good for summer daily driving?)

Tenzo R Type M 18X8 5X114.3 Offset +25

damnit… i need rota’s… please let me kill myself.

interested for sure. anything else you can get in that size that doesnt weigh over 25lbs im interested.

oh another thing, my hub bore is 108mm which is pretty big alot of wheels wont fit it.

hrm, unfortunately I don’t have bore specs from the suppler that I’m doing this group buy through. We’ll have to look in to each wheel specifically.

Do you have me on MSN or anything alex? if you use it, add me (jammin1911@hotmail.com) or AIM (jet stream john) and we can try to find something perhaps.
