because you can’t always balance a wheel on a single plane with clamp on weights. They are also weighted in the inside of the rim. You have to use sticky weights to keep them on the inside… but those are $$$
typically, winter-only tires require more balancing because they are more massive.

Yes, but you had the blue lip which at least separates the wheel from the tire more, visually. It’s more asthetically pleasing to me when there’s something braeking it up.
