Swiston’s is the end-all be-all of beef and weck in WNY in my opinion. Pull your boat up to the dock and throw popcorn to (at) the ducks.
you have to eat swistons right then and there or the bottom bun is done for. a ton of meat and cheap. I also love the carls roast beef at andersons
I’m surprised no has mentioned Schwabl’s on Union (and Center?).
Buffalo stuff I think starts at about 2:40 or so and Schwabl’s at around 8:30 I think. I’m a HUGE fan of Anthony Bourdain and he actually came here a couple years back.
Im not a fan Schwabl’s, beef seemed to thick and over cooked for my liking. I like it a bit pink and sliced thin. I love Bar Bills.
i will learn you here, if you are getting it to go, have them put a bunch of napkins under the sandwich, it will solve that little dilemma of yours
