Where can I get a gas tank along with some body stuff.

Today I went running around almost the whole day trying to find a gas tank with sending unit and rocker pannels. It looks like nobody makes this stuff anymore, I’m planning to restore my 89 240 I can fabricate a rocker pannel but the gas tank will be hard to make, I mean I can get aluminum and make a custom fuel cell, or buy one used but in good condition, the thing is I was at the wreckers today and all the gas tanks look like total crap, I dont wanna pay $40 for something that will start leaking in 2 years time.

Let me know if you guys migh have something cheap, or know good places that make replacement parts for this car.

So far I tried, crappy tire, napa, APC(auto parts centers) and nothing. i’m getting fed up.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Ive got a gas tank off my 89 you can buy. It has been undercoated a bunch of times and is in pretty decent condition for its age. No leaks or anything like that. Let me know if your interested.

How much, I mean there is one at the wreckers, but I prefer new you know.
