Where Can One Find....

…One of These Or Something Like it

http://membersdb.son240sx.ca/images/membersdb/1010_threaded_vacuum_fitting_small.jpg

It’s a threaded vacuum fitting that I want to use to drill and tap into my intake manifold for my MAP sensor.

I’m looking for one either like the one in the pic above or one with Ridges on it like a Fishing hook all the way up the shank.

EDIT: As Gautam Put it, The ones that look like several Ice Cream Cones Stacked up ontop of eachother.

  • Thanks

I forgot to mention I’m specifically looking for Stainless Steel or Aluminum ones…

home depot?

plumbing supply store?

you can get a brass one at home depot or home hardware.
you can use in in the maf with some non conductive paste so they dont corrode each other.
if you find an aluminum on let me know

Ya I got a Brass one with the “Ice Cream” fitting at CT. I only saw brass though!

Try Princess Auto, Building Box or plumbing stores.

Good luck finding it.

Easy 8)

You’re asking for a barb fitting…

Williams Fluidaire

stainless or ally huh… not going to happen in Canada… look at some of the online US mail order places… a NPT barb fitting in either of those materials is WAY outside normal spec. you’ve better off welding on an AN fitting …

Thanks guys for the sugguestions but everything local that you have mentiond only cary Brass…

Justin how would an AN Fitting work for Vac/Boost Sources off the Manifold?

Bob what is this “Williams Fluidaire” you speak of?

whats wrong with drilling / tappinga nd using brass? you could even braze it on if you’re scared. Also there are vaccum lines that are in the intake manifold that you could tee that are after the throttle body

COME TO P.I.

VIBRANT MAKES THEM.
