where is the idler adjusting screw?

hey guys it might be a stupid question but where is the idler adjusting screw located?

i’ve checked the FSM but all it had was a pic of what it looks like.
Can someone pls tell me where i can find it on a 92 ka?

thanks and much help is appreciated

Passenger side. Intake manifold. Near the firewall.

Look for a thin rubber hose going to a nipple near there. Near that
hose/nipple, you will see a flat-head screw

the best way to get on the screw is with a 3/8 ratchet with the flat head socket on it… might be a phillups.

It’s not that cramped in there.

If you have a short flat-head screwdriver, it shouldn’t be too hard.

Counter-clockwise = increase idle

I could not get a stubby one mine. but i have the abs actator in there. I had the socket so it was no worry for me.

I found out why it was easy for me: I removed my ABS actuator.

thx for the advice everyone
i’ll try using a rachet and see how it goes
