Where the hell are the Jingles!?!?!!?!?!

So for about a month now i’ve been looking for the beloved Jingles by Salerno (not that crappy ramake by keebler) and i couldnt find them anywhere…nobody in tops of wegmans seemed to have any idea where they where either…

apparently they all got shipments in back in like mid to late november, and they sold out in a week…and no more shipments came in after that…what the fuck, this is the first christmas i think i’ve ever had to go without jingles, and i’m totally pissed about it…

anybody with me on this experience? and if anybody has any, willing to sell? i have cash

ah fuck, i knew something was missing …

didn’t realize until it was pointed out. wtf, i loved those things.

i shake them kinda hard b4 they are open, just so when the box is gone i have extra sprinkles to sit there and scoop out with my fingertip … mmmmm

they changed the name to something else. same cookie, different name.

Santa’s favorites

I work at wegmans in the grocery dept, they’ve been sold out for around 3 weeks.Even the crappy keebler ones sold out.

I’d imagine they dont make a very large supply being that they’re seasonal.

yep we had the same problem at tops where i am a grocery clerk… i didnt evan know we got them in

They dont exist… Solerno sold the rights to Keebler, and they dont taste the same… They make the cookies but they call them something different and they taste different because they had to change the formula… basically Jingles as we know it… dont exist any more.

I LOVE JINGLES!!! Always ate them as a kid.

they just changed the name like i already said, and its the same formula they always used, they just sold the name.

Anise is the devil!

At the beginning of the Christmas season there were definitely some at Tops. I picked up 4 boxes  And they were the vintage Salerno ones, not Keebler…

I thought I was the only one to notice that the Jingles were missing.:frowning:
I bought the keebler, they are NOT the same taste.

my input:

  1. Salerno only makes them at one point in the year: the week after Halloween. That’s it.
  2. if they are short on some sort of supply because of an extra dry summer (it was pretty dry up here in the northeast…) then they will make less.
  3. Keebler = teh suck with X-mas cookies
  4. if you schmucks would only buy one box, then everybody could have some. I missed them too.

whats up with the fucks on here talking out of their asses in stating they dont exist any more?

they def do…i saw the display where they were, and the name never changed…they’re still jingles by salerno, just now they have a new addition to the name…santa’s favorites…which is appropriate i guess, but they’re also mine, and i dont know why a fat ass that only works one night a year deserves more props than me but whatever…

fuck thats rght, im pissed now

no idea what these are. :c (
feel like I’ve missed out on something scrumptious…

They are anise cookies.

I can check Budwey’s for you. There’s a Budwey’s in NT on Erie/Wheatfield and Division street (the one that runs parallel to the memorial highway–stupid system) and there is also one on Kenmore Ave near the Snaab dealer in the old Jubilee.

We used to stockpile that stuff. Old ladies in July would come in and buy them!

ya know what, your right. i remember we had a box here like a month ago, thats lame that they wouldn’t have them IN DECEMBER lol
