Where to get s13 silvia clip/front end in Southern Alberta

I just started my new job and it looks like i am gunna be making some pretty good money and of course i want to invest it in the car. Does any one know any places in southern alberta (or direct cheep places in japan) that would beable to get either the entire clip with the sr20 or just the front end conversion. And how much i would be looking to pay for each. If the clip is out of my price range i will get the conversion and do the engine later. I am already waiting on an email from autodream and JDMsource has the conversion for 900. Thats all i know. Help please

I would talk to custom auto. He said he could bring a clip in for me. The price all depends on what it has I think don’t quote me on this but I seem to remember him saying average price was around $4000. Give him a call though or customauto.ca

Doesnt custom auto just get their motors from jdm source and mark them up?

They are associated with JDM source. From my understanding the Custom Auto packages come more compleat ie down pipe, and even JDM gauge cluster. They are a bit more but if they come with everything you need it’s worth it I think. Of coarse it depends on how much more. I’ll find that out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up though I’ll look into it some more. You got me thinking now, so how many places actually bring in thier own motors? Or does JDM Source supply most of them? Just curious

Lots of shops get them from suppliers like JDM source. Very few shops actually get motors themselves from Japan.

only 2 shops that I know that don’t buy from jdm source in calgary are speedtech, and i am not sure about auto dream anymore.

Yea my autodream experience is going downhill but from what everyone else says they are still good.

Correction. Auto dream is a great shop. some of my parts were late but theys ent them out to me as soon as i got them. Marvin is a stand up guy and has been excellent to deal with.

I will definatly be returning when i need more stuff

my Jdmsource experience so far has been great, Shoaib’s a good guy, usually quite busy but cool guy nonetheless.

Alvin automotive also helped me alot with my timing chain, props!
