Where to get some late-model leather seats?

I don’t post on here usually, but I need some local info. I have an 01 focus zx3 and I am currently working on the interior. I am doing an all grey to black conversion (dying doorpanels/dash) and will do the headliner and get a black carpet.

But where should I go to get a decent set of sporty black leather seats? I only need the front 2. I am aware that I will have to make custom brackets to mount onto sliders, I am ok with that. I just feel like an ass walking into a junkyard asking for black seats.

I have seen niiice rsx, saab, bmw,etc…etc… front seats go for 250-400 bucks on ebay, I just want something local if possible.

ANY IDEAS?

ever thought of just buying new skins for your existing seats? I go either that way, or just pickup some after markets that fit.

I honeslty, wouldnt be trying to get a seat to fit the car, that wasnt designed to… their just as critical in a car accident as a seatbelt.

nah… if they were made for it (or had brackets avalible to fit it) I have no problem with. Just trying to rig seats to fit that werent designed for it, is where it gets sketchy

Well with the right skill almost any seat can fit in a car as secure and safe as OEM. I do understand your concerns about safety with homemade shitty brackets.

buy a crashed svt and u can have leather seats and the frt are even heated.

beleive me guys, anthony’s brackets wont be shitty, and im pretty sure he wants to stay away from the SVT seats, as the only ones that are entirely leather are the ones that came on SVT’s with the european package, and those seats go for at least a grand

finding a wrecked svt is pretty close to impossible

i just want some sporty stockers from another car - i think im just gonna stop in to a local yard and see what they can get me a deal on.

head over to J&J, They’ve got a few porsches in there. Those seats are always nice. If you get an idea what you want, my friend works over there so I could probably get you a great price.
