You shouldve towed it to A-1 in Albany. I think they pay pretty decently.
that’s crazy if u think you can get that from a junk yard. junk yards are in to making $ out of deals not maybe breaking even. $800 tires to you but can you imagine going to the junk yard for tires and they tell u 800 u would laugh in there face even if they were like new theres no warranty or anything. they make a shit load of $ but don’t like paying it. your best bet is to sell it to a personal buyer
this needs to stop. A junkyard that I called in rochester offered me $650 for the truck… I was merely asking who might pay a similar amount in the capital district.
Don’t call me crazy, just say junkyards around here don’t pay that much.
Take the $650 and run.
Most of the yards here crush cars that old so they dont even bother parting them out, therefore they dont pay alot for them. If it was newer they might.
Did you try putting it on Albany Underground? One of the guys on there has a shop that does alot of 4x4 stuff so he might be interested.
I put it on there, Jaz should be taking a look soon. I thought Hank might be interested but i guess not…
Either way, I think Hennessy figured out the problem and it might be running again real soon making it a whole new ball game.
I brought 2 cars (Civic and Integra) to the port and got $53 total for both. So yeah you probably won’t get more than $25. Maybe back when scrap was so high but definitely not now.
if ur cars dead, have it crushed by Red?
