physics can explain teh future by determing the acceleration of every object. If we had enough knowledge of the world to understand every single object and understand its acceleration (at every level, including jerk, snap, crackle, pop etc etc) and could process it all, we would theoretically be able to predict the future by computing how matter would react with each other.
This is how we predict the weather, and as technology grows we will be able to predict more, and more accuratly.
