who carries NRG or any other type of short hub IN STOCK?

anyone carry the new NRG short hub OR any other type of short hub IN STOCK!

short hub meaning 1-2" in length.

preferrably for a 95 240sx but shouldn’t matter if its for another car, i just want to test fit a quick release to see if the bolts match up.

if anyone has one or sells them, let me know!

once everything bolts up fine AND if its a 1995 240sx hub, you will have 2 definite sales coming your way no doubt

thanks

im also interested in a short hub… but need to compare in person… thanks

ask mr_240sx

touge tuning in the vendors section

yes I bought one, it’s about 1.4" with a momo bolt spacing

what quick release are you using? i called NRG and they said all their products are only compatibile with their own, meaning i can’t use another quick release…so i wanted to test it out.

whats with the momo bolt spacing? conversion adapter?

I looked into their qr’s and it seems the outer body is short but the center is too thick and offset inward so as to interfere with even their own… that is until version 3 supposedly

either way you could consider a working combo with an nrg short X and a regular fat Y… unless you buy their kit which has both and a wheel

I bought the NRG short hub and the slim NRG quick release and it does NOT work with the horn. I had to remove all the wires and contacts down the centre of the quick release to get it to work. The steering wheel bolt causes the interference.

can you tell me how much length is from the start of the steering wheel column to the end?

im thinking of getting the NRG short hub and my QR has 0.6" of room.

im hoping from teh start of the column, to the end, it will be less than 1.6" long.

let me know please!

thanks!

I have no idea what the distance is, and I do not really want to pull it all off to find out. The problem with the slim quick release is that in order to save space it extends down into the centre of the hub, causing the clearance problems. If you use a regular qr from nrg, you will not have any problems at all. Just don’t combine the slim hub with the slim release. A slim release and a regular hub, or a slim hub and a regular release will work fine. Unfortunately I had to find this out the hard way. I have my horn hooked up to a button for the moment until I feel like putting the effort into getting the horn to work seemlessly.
