As long as you had fun that’s all that matters, at least you’re out there racing what you built the damn thing to do. Besides for shake down passes you didnt do that bad! :lol:
heh, well…pretty bad to me. but it was telling of what the car is doing and I always expect too much too soon anyways. I haven’t done much on the street aside from some quick blasts so holding it wide open that long with some traction under the tires told a bit of a story.
After all that time and money just make sure when you get out to NYI your best pass is better than an 11.7 
its hard getting these new setups to run where they should. i shaved almost a second and gained like 10mph when i was bringing my smallblock there back in 04 from its first runs. and that was over a couple weeks only. i actually went a bit back then. i need to get back into it this car has potential and im pretty pumped to see what it can do with some changes. i’ll hit up Lancaster more until its worthy of a trip to nyi. i don’t think it would pull down the back half right now the way it sits

Meh I rolled out of 1st gear and ran a 9.2 at Lancaster lol. If you’re not building boost at the line you’re going to run terrible. Especially with really long gears.

I never run straight headers. It’s next to impossible to hear a tiny noise in the engine such as a lifter tapping too loud. It’s especially important on a new build. Have someone video a launch with the camera focused on the rear tire/ rear suspension.
