I have a 2003 Audi A6 2.7T. Someone before double side tape and superglued a gps stand to the dash and when it was removed the dash is not missing a dime size chuck out of the dash and has superglue and tar left by the double side tape. Any suggestion on where to take it to get it fixed?
It has like a black leather texture.
Thanks in advance.
good luck with that one.
Lol, i gorilla glued my radar to my dash in my grand prix. i felt bad
that’s all i have to offer
When I worked at the honda dealership there was a guy that came around to fix interiors (dashes, carpets, etc), that was back in Vermont. I would give a dealership a call and see who they use, because most used cars have some sort of interior damage that has to be fixed.
dr.vinyl is what ray laks uses, its a hudsband/wife business and they deal with any interior problems from leather to holes in dashes… u can use pro-sol(or some kind of adhesive remover to remove the glue/adhesive stuff) by the sound of ure size, they shuld charge u about 50 bucks…
try goo gone to remove the gunk from the glue/tape.
Would that damage the dash? Like cause it to fade.
no
Damn… I was looking forward to a story that some psycho chick kicked the dash in her high heels…
D & R restyling and upholstery down in buffalo could fix that I think.
i called around and found 2 places they are gonna come by and take a look at it to see if its fixable. i hope it is or a new dash will cost me a arm and leg
another option for about the same cost is to buy a GPS unit and mount it in the same spot thus hiding the damage.
she’d have to bend pretty funny
