fixin carbon fiber

i was jus on my way to dunkin dougnuts and my cf hood seperated form the brace underneath. does anyone know a good way to fixit. btw im poor so dont bother tellin me to get a new hood because i cant afford it

duct tape.

would do that for a tmp fix but i want it to be permanet.

duct tape+glue

Gorilla Glue and plastic

+duct tape

just a couple little pieces of duct tape under the plastic, then plaster the Gorilla glue on

Then some more duct tape for visual effect.

:+1, then I would KrazyGlue over that

thanks man will try.

no, the gorilla glue and plastic will cover the duct tape that’s holding it together…noob

!!!

:rofl

Then print out a bunch of these and glue them over the repair… and good as new!!

right but duct tape is a vital part of the repair process, and should therefore be given tribute by covering the glue/plastic (what does that even mean? plastic what? :rofl), and being seen by all.

No the duct tape will look bad and stand out, so you cover it up with some misc. plastic pieces and the glue is for extra hold…

that’s actually a good idea too

Duct tape is strong, flexible, and quite sexual. Do not undermine duct tape please.

(ps, i have a new addition to the Sentra, you’re going to :rofl when you see it :rofl)

and I agree with Lance’s idea as well, however it must have an adhesive backing, preferably duct tape or some variant.

I agree with everything Benny said pertaining to duct tape. When I used to go through a pair of shoes each month skateboarding… duct-tape. Helps extend the life of the shoes. Its your one-stick quick fixer upper — duuct tape

Is that what holds the H22 in your hot whip too?

Sadly, I have no duct tape on the hatch whatsoever. I’m assuming it’ll fall apart soon enough unless I put some duct tape on there as extra reinforcement.

put the stock hood back on.
