The Z4 actually held its own on the track in the R&T sports car test…
and if i can remember correctly the editors had some really good things to say about it. But i agree it should have some more power
The Z4 is more of a cruiser car for a adult that just wants drive slow…its not supposed to have alot of hp or be super sick fast like you all want…

yes it did… I was surprised. Just because it’s only 225HP doesn’t mean it’s REALLY slow. If my memory is correct, the Z4 kept up with a 300HP 350Z in a straight line…plus, BMW is very good at getting a lot of performance out of a lower HP through gearing and low drivetrain loss…with that being said, i would not be too interested in one unless it was a M car. There are still rumors of BMW making an ///M version of the Z4…they’ll probably wait until the e90 M3 comes out which is supposed to have a V8.’

yup!!! that is gonna be the first car i buy when i’m out of school. ever since i’ve driven one i fell in love.
Benz just came out with the AMG version of their SLK cars, usually BMW isn’t far behind in coming out with an M version of their cars that are supposed to challenge the same style of Benz cars.
It will probably be 2 years till we see a M version of the Z4
z4 is for country club wives with no jobs… i mean, if you’re gonna drop 40stacks… i can think of a few cars that would be better. and if it’s a ‘just for fun car’, it’s still gay because you could buy a used m3 convertable for less.
ps. imho i don’t like the new bmw styling… yet. i like it on the 5s but that’s about it.

well thats wut i want, but not the new e60 m5. I mean i would love to have one, but they’re $$$. E39 M5 prices are starting to drop, so when i graduate in two years they should be pretty affordable and not hard to find a low mileage one.
