going north on I-79 today, got off on the warrendale exit ?
does any1 have a Z4 on this forum even?
BMW Z4’s are as worthless as the Porsche Boxster
Economy cars from a performance company
Chad’s secret boy toy? :greddy:
you are correct sir, although the Boxster is supposed to be much improved this year.
Eh. i see them as a German Miata.
Now the M roadster and the Carerra Conv…
thats a dif. story
what style sticker was it?
The new boxter s is sweeeeet
the new boxter s is very awesome…faster than the enzo thru the slalom
i seen a yellow older bmw pass me in castle shannon a couple weeks ago with a black brand new M3 following it, the yellow one looked like it had a pittspeed sticker on the side
I drove a new Z4 and loved it. Not the fastest thing on Earth, but a lot of fun to drive.
It wasn’t designed to go fast in a straight line only, so I guess the people here can’t appreciate it.
yea, cause noone here cares about anything other than drag racing
why don’t you enlighten us all  :greddy:
:hsugh:
no M, no care.
They definitely need to come out with an M version of it, but it’s just a fun small convertible. The German Miata comparison is valid, that’s basically what it is. I’d love to have one to cruise around on back roads.
C’mon guys, it’s at least a 85% crowd in here that only care about drag racing.
they already have an M roadster. And i dont think everyone in here is all about drag racing, I think most people just want a car with more horsepower than the average mid size sedan. 180hp for the 2.5, 225 with the 3.0L. Who would want to drop 40K on a 225hp roadster?
so waht? does that mean that we can’t have an opinion on cars not made to drag race? don’t make it sound like we’re all biased… i drive an almost 3000lbs FWD underpowered car to the track… i’m building a convertable… i’m all about drag racing, but i’m not driving a stripped RWD drag car.
Oddly enough I’m all about handling, and I’m the one driving the RWD overweight American pile. But do I like the Z4? Hell no. It’s hideous to begin with. And it’s underpowered. The sub-compact 'vert thing has never been my thing anyway. But I’d rather have a S2K than a Z4. I imagine a M version will come along in due time (generally a few years after the initial model launch) and then it will probably be a very respectable performer. Still not my taste, but much more respectable.

Since when is there an M roadster being made new? They made it on the old Z3 body style, but they haven’t done anything with the Z4.
I never said that I would buy a Z4, but I’m not going to talk down about it. I drove the 2.5 and it actually felt fairly quick, it was at least fast enough to be fun. The Z4 was a lot more fun to drive than any of the more powerful cars that I’ve driven. (That is until Blue let’s me take the Cobra for a spin :))
My uncle is looking into buying a Z4, and I’ll be sure to borrow it anytime that I can.
