yeah, we’ve already established that. i’ve also offered my bodywork services even though i did nothing to damage his car. guess i’m still an asshole cuz i actually stepped up. hopefully we are all grown up enough to get though this. i totally knew something like this may happen, and had every indication it would just get blown wide open. sorry about you car. i can fix it.
I had a fat chick sit on my car at the lot the first time I had my T/A out. Weeks later I come to find that she broke one of those adjusters to adjust the hood/fender gap and one of the mounts for the flip up headlight. It was awesome to watch her jump when I hit the pannic button. I left it on for about 5 min. too and acted like it wasnt my car. Since I have turned up the sensitivity of the factory alarm.
i was in on pushing the car all 12 feet as well. ill own up to being part of “the group” but i was on the drivers rear quarter panel nowhere near the bumper. i honestly didnt know anything happened to your bumper until code blue walked over and said it was fucked up. joey i apologise and im just as guilty as everyone else that moved it. i dont have money to put towards any repair but i CAN lend a hand if wanted/needed for a DIY job. let me know if you’d like any assistance.

the bumper is going to be fixed. it’s the paint crack that can’t be easily DIY fixed.
Considering what industry his father is in I doubt that there will be any helping of fixing anything, the main thing is just don’t go messing with peoples cars like that. Seran wrap is one thing, but this was a little different. I doubt ANYONE involved intended for any damage, but it happened. I applaud those that came forward, but I think it would benefit everyone more to simply keep this incident in the back of your mind next time the oppertunity comes up !
besides that and the obvious infestation, it was a fun night, felt good to drive the teg for the first time in over 5 years…
I’m not here to play the role of daddy or to be high-and-mighty, but I think Joe should get a top-quality bodyshop to fix it and split the bill 10 ways or 12 ways or however many people moved the car. I respect Travis, mcflurry (is it Mark?) and Mackenzie for “manning up” and admitting their wrongdoing, but I think, out of respect for Joey, which was obviously lacking last night, that this shouldn’t be a “DIY” fix, even if it is a pretty simple problem. The car was in 100% fantastic shape before this whole thing and there’s no excuse for making it 95% after a “DIY” fix, even if the bill is $500 or something, split 12 ways, that’s only $40 or $50 a piece or whatever, a lot more damage could have come out of that.
Again, not trying to be a daddy, just saying what I would want done if something like this happened to my car (which would never happen because you’d need 22389923 clones of Owens to lift it :lol).
EDIT: Is it really only cracking of the paint? I thought the bumper itself was screwed too.

the response he said was “yea, I know”, and we started to make the temp repairs.
from what I saw, and temp. fixed, the bumper mounting hole was pulled over the screw and washer. still shitty either way…
This crap really has to stop, especially since everyone talks about how the “PR’S” are ruining the lot… but then we go and start messing with each others car’s. I truly understand that it wasn’t meant in that aspect, but that’s how things escalate to being out of control.

you all are correct… it was childish and immature. there was obviously no intent on damaging his car…but it happened and even though i personally didnt cause the bumper damage, i definitely am sorry it happened. it was only meant to bust balls and see his reaction when he got back to the lot from driving bfol’s 335xi. as i said previously, i was unaware there was even any damage until jason (code blue) came over looking for a screwdriver to aid in the repair effort. its all fun and games til someones shit gets fucked…

Everyone’s attitude, that was involved, towards the whole thing is kind of a “oh…well…sorry, hope it works out”. The whole “oh i’m broke, have no money…” Ever hear the old “Don’t touch someone elses shit unless you can fix it if it breaks”? Everyone offering the help or money, i’m not going to accept it, probably wouldn’t get it anyways. Nor am i going to tell my dad like some of you assumed, i’m not going to put the stress on him to fix something else on that car and have to tell him some people down where we hang out did it thinking it was a joke. All i’m going to tell him is oh the bumper must’ve dropped down when the tires rubbed or something, the last thing that guy needs is stress over being pissed that someone would do that to me/something of mine.
I was being told to go say something, do something or whatever afterwards. It would’ve done nothing, that group of people would’ve laughed and been like c’mon it was a joke, or some stupid reaction. As you all know i can’t really do much physically just because well, i’m smaller than everyone. I just let the anger sit inside me, damaging someone elses car in return would’ve either a.) caused more problems or b.) not been worth it. I was rather angry after seeing 1.) the car moved knowing windows were up and car was locked 2.) seeing the bumper hanging down and cracked and 3.) getting in it to move it and hearing a clicking from the front of the car, angry enough that i wanted to dropkick travis’ doors because his car would’ve been the only decent one to compare to mine, even then it wouldn’t have been worth it, so i just keep to myself.
I love how it’s a big deal when it happens to you Joey, but you didn’t have a problem fucking with my car right next to me in it.
