The only time that I’ve referred to my car as being ONE of the ‘nicest/fastest’ cars on this board is when people bitch and whine about driving somewhere else then the fucking McD’s lot to hang out. I’m the EXTREME example on this board as far as traveling to hang out goes…
its not a huge deal to travel, some just would prefer not to, when i lived out west, i lived about 130miles each way from the weekly friday GTG’s they would have, and id be at everyone as long as i didnt have Duty or something. Friday and saturday used to be my day off… 130miles to go hang out is no joke, and i see where travis is coming from, because ive been that guy.
yes. huge drives, charity cruises, those sorts of things, combined forum GTG’s lke the honda-tech,vortex, vwccw, audizine, audiworld, evom, posdsm, nwevos, nasioc… this would be like a once a month saturday, with a 1000 cars in some remote place. www.leavenworthdrive.com is probably one of the best PNW cruises.
You called me a cali nut swinger, go look up pics from “cars and coffee” meets and tell me you wouldn’t like to attend. Then tell me where you can go to something like that around here. It really isn’t worth it to me to travel to meets around here anymore. The H-t meets I went to were absolutely terrible (as you know). I won’t be traveling next year at all except for Import Alliance in Nashville.
I’m not bitching, simply making a comparison to the west coast. I’m making a point about how people around here do not have as much of a reason to travel to meets like Brett did in Washington.
can move. as ive said before, enough for a complete 3 months living expenses(all of your bills). and go start a job search in the area you want to live, research the area, find new groups all that and make the transition.
