well i dont have headers, but i do have a 3inch downpipe with a vband cat section i can remove.
i dono much about imports but isnt a down pipe just like a header? or is it somthing totaly diffrent? :confused
its the pip that comes off the headers and goes to a cat or muffler or what ever (im pretty sure)
Comes off the exhaust housing on the turbo

We had the car running great this afternoon and took it for a few rips on the extension while tuning it but now its backfiring again.
I know its not a mechanical issue now.

Yeah, it was running great and had plenty of power and I could wind it out to 6k with no trouble and it pulled hard.
Now anything over 3500 it backfires.
The problem seems to be with the fuel pressure.
Hmm, maybe a bad injector, or fuel pump…
It was running too lean and he bumped the pressure up to 40 psi and it was good and then it was bumped to 44 psi and it ran good but maybe thats too high.
The pump is new with probably 500-1000 miles on it and the injectors checked out ok on tests.
ya anyone who was thinking about it, just come out tonight cuz the weather is holding out nicely, plus i think alot of cool people are coming for once
