Last year when we got kicked out some of us went to Latham Farms but it was only a group of about 10-15 or less.
Everybody else just stayed home or went somewhere without their car.
The guy i’m talking about that i talked to the other night and last week for a little bit has an older RX-7, built, with a 200shot and runs like 9.20’s i believe he said. He also built a 2nd Gen Trans Am with a BBC. To me he seems like an alright guy, english is a bit broken but he’s not bad.
That was me in the green car, i know its slow and i didnt mean to start anything with you guys. I just have that car until i can find a teggy to turbo. Right now i like to watch more than anything

I know one thing they can’t line up cars for shit. I lined up the first couple of races on friday night. After I walked away the some rican stepped uop and tried. To begin a car was come so it locked it like a 75 foot skid on the breaks went around the retards then didn’t even line the cars up equal before launching them

Oh i know, PV has been at it for longer than most on this forum have been alive :lol I just wanna try and get the respect aspect of it back, it seems respect has slipped through the cracks lately. Back when my car was a 13.50 car(16), i used to wait to race till all the big boys were done or i was asked to race by one of them, of course we never had a roll option then :lol

It’s easy for some of us slightly older guys to see the change, and not embrace it.
Imagine a place: Just like it is today…madness…firworks, sirens, thumping base, donuts and lot drifting…and a “track” in a different jurisdiction 2 miles away with a perfect speactator side road. Sounds good right… WELL///it does SOUND good… but it just doesnt work and we all know why.
So, yes , it sucks to those that have been chased from location to location over the years…to finally have had it going smooth…then the shit hits the fan in 06, 07, and now in 08.
I think 94GT will back me up when I say we had over 75 runs in 05/06 without ever seeing the cops… The reason many bring their car out is to use it…and we are losing the opportunity to see people “use” it, so they stop coming out.
If the track dies, the lot quality will drop, and eventually the cops will kick everyone out… cause trouble will eventually occur.
What can be done??? Probably nothing… This years PR’s as some refer to the loud group, was 06 and part of 07’s “kids”. Some of those “kids” have figured it out… It’s a social community that might, and might not survive. At this point its up to those causing the issues to change.
I am considering selling my Trans Am since the chance to use it is almost gone. I hope others are not starting to feel the way i do.

Haha yeah, i think i had 1/2 of those runs that year :lol but in all seriousness, it was an amazing year, out-of-state boys coming up for fun, its just not like that anymore. Like you said, thats the reason im in no big hurry to get my shit done, there are 1-2 cars there that i can play with. Sat was a nice change of pace though i must admit, just too bad the spot was kinda fucked up or we could have seen a few more nasty runs!
