who to go to for sand blasting and powder coating?

i have a snare drum that the rims and hardware have pitting on them, i would like them sandblasted and powder coated to similar color (pewter grey).

whos the go to for powder coating?

dude, a quick search…and general browsing of NYspeed would have given you the answer to this. We have an advertiser who’s business is strickly media blasting, and another that is a major powdercoater…

Blast-off, and Detective Coatings

dude…hes slow…give him a break…ha

You should have left it like this.

If drums are small enough, I have a small cabinet.

:like:

its not eh drums itself its the hardware on them. the reason why im posting this is because its all small stuff. the biggest items is the top and bottom rim which is 14 inches in diameter. thought maybe someone does it on the side

ive been happy with hotshots.

powder systems technologies is garbage.

I would get in touch with Blast Off

Can I bring my Register covers over?

Detective coating ftw

+1. I have a few covers I need to blast so I can repaint them.

Blast Off

Reasonable prices, fast professional service.

HVAC registers mostly what i use it for. Bring it on computer boy. I have a bag of soda media for finer finishes too. Let me know. Just trying to help.

for anything that takes me longer than my ten minute attention span… Jesse @ Blastoff, hands down. He’s got a tumbler blaster for small parts now. F-using a cabinet, lolz.

avoid Rochester Vibratory - they were cheap but they took several months and didn’t respond to emails until I threatened them.

Anyone needs covers redone, just PM me. I can probably do them all on a weekend and if you bring the primer / paint, I’ll do them too if you like.
