didnt get to work on it when i got home. before i install the piece i want to spray it with the UV protectent and i was going to get it on my way home from work BUT…i forgot my wallet=(
so ll pick up the stuff tomorrow.
heres the piece i made. “leather” on the outsides and ultrasuede in the middle. he stitching is silver/light gray. they had actual silver thread but it was like chrome, too shiney for me and way too thin. so i went with this and love it against the fabric.
i did single stitching on the sides. i was going to do double but after i did it on my test part…didnt like it so much.
the orignal armrest has 0…ZERO padding and just kills your arm. i plan on laying padding down for some comfort. plus it will stick up maybe 1/2" giving a better look IMO…enjoy!
