I bought one, got a stupid deal on it brand new. I recomend waiting till its fairly warm out, I had my car sitting in the shop for a couple hours before rolling them to get the metal and paint to room temperature. I may need to roll alittle more, I’ll find out saturday when I test fit again. Let me know if you need to roll yours!

Well, I was going to hand-make springs for the Mazda2 but I couldnt figure out how to get the springs rates just right. I also tried to build my own air filter and MAF for the Speed3 intake but my extremely, ridiculously expensive circular saw, jig saw and screwdriver wasn’t cutting it.
Mind you, this is all after I mapped it all out with some incredibly accurate CAD drawings in Microsoft Paint.
Lol thanks for noticing that the title of this thread is “Who’s stockpiling PARTS for spring?” and not “Who’s custom fabricating shit for spring?” That being said I have an engine and trans in my garage. Along with a clutch, All new brakes, some exhaust pieces, and a few other miscellaneous things. Have some laminex and other little shit on a list to be ordered as well.

at least they are making a single post in this thread, instead of making a “build” thread where they just bolt on wheels and suspension and say “look how awesome of a car I made”…or even worse, a build thread with just talking in it about a honda civic that doesn’t run and everyone assocaited with wrenching on it is too stupid to figure out a basic wiring flaw.
For the coming month I got a few things to put on.
-New exhaust manifold
-Finish my conversion from narrowband to wideband for my new tune
-Install my meth kit
-Make my new 3" turboback exhaust since I just picked up a welder.
I still have to buy a new turbo, thinking comp 5858 with the billet wheel. Also might grab a new intercooler to keep everything cool.
Non go fast parts include a RS4-look bumper cover (needs paint) and some new lightweight BBSs.
edit. I also should buy a clutch, but I’m praying to the car gods that the current one holds.

I’m custom making parts for my car but it would be deemed uncool since there’s no LS1, it’s fwd and makes >200whp not that I care about others opinions.

Got another box full of parts the other day. Biggest things are the MP62 Supercharger and the Lotus Cup (TRD) Airbox. 3 more weeks till my vacation starts and I can install all this stuff.
MMMM I love m62’s lol. Have wanted to pick up a used one from a cobalt SS or ion redline to make a custom kit for the focus but haven’t really chased that idea yet
