Cattaraugus and Erie county Sheriffs. FTP. Really, The cop asked me why people run, after he gave me my 6 tickets. I showed him my stack of paper, laughed, and said this is why.

welll… you got a bad apple… or you were rude and didnt show them that YOU WERE PULLING OVER… ie… flash brakes… turn signal on… wave/acknowledge and pull over when its safe

ive been pulled over before with no license on me, but they were able to pull all my info up on the computer and he went from there, didnt get any tickets for not having it on me, but i did have a registered licenses so it wasnt like i was driving without having one in general.

While I agree it’s not difficult to get, for those that go with Ride with PRIDE, it was such a pain waiting around for my license to come. I took my class in April this year and was told that they were supposed to come in the mail 4 weeks later (as opposed to 8 weeks in the past). Well sure enough, it took the full 8 weeks. I was so pissed about it though that I got tired of waiting and rode on my own after 4 weeks but was just really cautious about it.

Just a fyi, the Ride w/Pride and any other MSF course offered in NYS will now give you the MSF card / road test waiver right after you pass the riding eval… That means pass the class on Sunday, get your license changed at the DMV on Monday. Very cool, and about time! No more waiting “up to 8 weeks”…

Just an update my no motorcycle license ticket was reduced to a $35 parking ticket. Way better than I thought it was going to be

Actually, I was very polite to the first two sheriffs who pulled me over. Then the one who clocked me at 101 pulled up and got in my face. But once I knew it was pretty much over, I did use my turn signal and shut the bike right off. I was hoping to get let go… not so lucky. haha
