I go to court on the 11th for speeding and only riding on a permit. Just wondering what im in for as far as the no license thing. It’s west Seneca court if that makes a diffrence. Thanks
i got pulled over in elma for riding with no license the cop wrote the ticket saying just that “riding without license” i went to the DA and showed them my drivers license and it got dropped. so maybe you’ll luck out like i did

<–6 AUO 3rds, 1 AUO 2nd countless unlic ops and just got another one last week. You didn’t get one, you’re just driving out of class, big difference. You’ll most likely end up with an 1110a for the speed and they’ll just drop the unlic op. You’ll get a heavy fine to make up for it though, probably the max for an 1110a, I think it’s around $155.
There isn’t anything difficult about getting your DM… Why ride without it?
it’s not an auo charge. it’s driving out of class i think.
you have a class d license. you should have a dm license. i think it’s different than driving without a valid license.

While I agree it’s not difficult to get, for those that go with Ride with PRIDE, it was such a pain waiting around for my license to come. I took my class in April this year and was told that they were supposed to come in the mail 4 weeks later (as opposed to 8 weeks in the past). Well sure enough, it took the full 8 weeks. I was so pissed about it though that I got tired of waiting and rode on my own after 4 weeks but was just really cautious about it.
meh. another reason the MSF is worth it… if you cant warrant spending the >300 bucks then, you should atleast take the road course.

Just an update my no motorcycle license ticket was reduced to a $35 parking ticket. Way better than I thought it was going to be

Just a fyi, the Ride w/Pride and any other MSF course offered in NYS will now give you the MSF card / road test waiver right after you pass the riding eval… That means pass the class on Sunday, get your license changed at the DMV on Monday. Very cool, and about time! No more waiting “up to 8 weeks”…

uhh… I got two driving out of class tickets today. 2 misdemenors for wreckless opps, road blocked by 3 cops saying I was running, I clearly wasn’t cause I did stop… wtf Luckily,my best friends dad is a lawyer. hollaaa
