Why are 240sx's expensive cars?

Keep in mind in now way I’m saying there not worth it or awesome cars, I’m just curious as to whay there so expensive.

Is it beacuse there rare?
Is it beacuse of the RWD?
Is it because they have alot of potential?
Is it because they were expensive cars to begin with? (I have no idea if that’s ture)
Are the sr20det swap 240’s expensive because the motor’s expensive to begin with? or because the install is difficult?

Did I just anwser my own question lol… :?

I donno, hopefully its not only me who’s noticed that they are pricy cars and any input would be great.

its because people wnat them (for the reasons you mentioned)

and the market is willing to pay for the few good condition ones that are left.

they are expencive?:dunno: I payed more for my rims then i did my car and mine came cer/etest with no frame rust.

even 3-4 k for a mint one dosnt seem expensive to me

If you think a 240Sx is an expensive car, maybe you should consider a Yugo?
